Inspiration College of Teachers Education, Nainital was founded in 2005. Its managed by Inspiration Public School Society, to provide qualified teachers to the region. Its Affiliated to Kumaon University.

Inspiration College of Teachers Education is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), to conduct the course in the field of teaching education - B Ed, which is a one-year full time programme.

Inspiration College of Teacher Education, Kathgodam is the epitome of learning where the people from all over can build the future in teaching which is one of the noblest profession in the world. The college has been striving for excellence since its inception. It has grown ever since it came into being. Balancing the modern trends and technologies with the traditional methodologies and values has been the key areas where ICTE has excelled itself. The institute not only teaches the students to be an effective teacher but also to be a friends, philosopher & guide to the students in the class. In modern times of scientific intervention in the class, the teachers’ role has changed. The teacher must also act as facilitator.
