Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata was established in 1953 is one of the Premier Management Educational Institutes in Eastern India.

During the initial years, the Institute was referred to as All India Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management and in 1958 the name IISWBM was incorporated.

This esteemed Institute initiated the first program of management education in India.
