International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi was established in 1981 and sponsored by India’s corporate business group RPG Enterprises.

It is an autonomous India's first corporate sponsored business school which is located in Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi, India

It is one of the premier institutes established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The institute is recognised and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & international accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AASCB), Florida (USA).

It is also accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and certified with ISO 9001:2008 Certification.

The institute aims to prepare globally competitive management professionals with strong moral, personal and social values and whose training and management skills are grounded in inappropriate and advanced concepts and principles.

International Management Institute New Delhi is one of the 6th private colleges has gained a good reputation among world-class institutions of management.

The institute started offering the courses for Management to the students in 1981 and became India's oldest business management school.

First, the college was started its pillars to launched in collaboration with International Management Institute, Geneva (currently International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Lausanne).

The institute launched its first 52 weeks Executive MBA program, Post Graduate Programme in International Management (PGPIM) which is now known as the Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management in 1984.

Also, the institute launched of the two years full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme in 1993.

Subsequently, the PGDM-HRM and PGDM (B&FS) programs were launched in 2006 and 2014 along with Fellow Program in Management approved by AICTE respectively.

The students were selected through CAT (Common Admission Test) Entrance Examination conducted every year. Admission to these programmes is through CAT and GMAT.

The institute has been received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports and curricular like XLRI is ranked 9th among management colleges in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2017 and overall ranking is 15th& & ranked 6th Among Private B Schools.

The institute has a strong International Exchange Program for students and faculty with several leading Management Institutes in EU and ASEAN countries and so on.

At present, the institute offers Post Graduate Diploma courses in management specializations and also offers the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), a doctoral programme. The Fellowship is considered to be equivalent to PhD globally.

IMI received approval from AICTE to launch the Fellow Program in Management Recognized as an approved Research Center of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi for an award of the University's PhD degree in Management.
