Anjuman-I-Islam's Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Mumbai was established in 1874 and managed by Anjuman-I-Islam’s Education Trust.

It is conveniently located in the heart of Mumbai at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (V.T) which covers the important business area of Mumbai. The institute has been declared as a Deemed University soon.

It is one of the premier institute established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

It is affiliated with the University of Mumbai, Mumbai and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

The institution was started with a humble objective to provide higher education in a professional institution of the state in Hotel Management, Social work, and provides all including economically affordable fees.

The aim of the institute is to prepare the student for life and work in an information-rich and a technology-driven world.

It also offers three years of Diploma Degree Program in Bachelor of Science (Hospitality Studies & Catering Services) affiliating under Yashvantrao Chavan, Maharashtra Open University, Mumbai.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai, and various other examinations are held in the institute premises.
