Indian Fashion Academy (IFA), Mumbai was established in 2001 and managed by Maharashtra Kala Shikshan Prasarak Mandal is a register public trust under section 18 of the Bombay Public Trust Act, in 1950. Nitin Magar who is a founder and President of MKSPM.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

It is accredited by an international accreditation City and Guilds of London Institute, London (United Kingdom). City & Guilds has been operating under Royal Charter (RC117), granted by Queen Victoria, since 1900.

Indian Fashion Academy is set up in Mumbai with all the infrastructure to train the students to a level of all-around competence and encourage them to promote themselves as professionals, by the end their training period.

IFA has been awarded International Star for Leadership in Quality Award, Paris (France)-2013 in Gold Category Also Indian Fashion Academy is appointed as an Assessment Institute for Larsen & Toubro (L & T) Public Charitable Trust for its Tailoring, Fashion & Beauty Training Centers all over Maharashtra.
