Idhaya Engineering College for Women (IECW), Chinnasalem was established in 2001.

This institute Approved by AICTE and Affiliation by Anna University,Chennai and managed by the Franciscan sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Congregation, in Pondicherry.

The prime objective of the college is providing quality technical education for women according to the motto of the college “build a better world”.
The women professionals are equipped with professional skills and knowledge, which are required to shatter all the barriers they face in the society.
