About H.K.E. Societys Homeopathic Medical College

H.K.E. Societys Homeopathic Medical College, Gulbarga was established in 1980.

Its Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

HKE Society's Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital is the first institution in the whole of Karnataka state to offer BHMS Degree course.

The course was started with an initial capacity of 50 students per year, which is increased to 100 since 2002-03. It is a matter of pride that one of the institutions Senior Professor Dr. Vijaylaxmi B. M., was the first student in the whole of state to complete BHMS Degree course and later she joined the service of the institution.

The institution got affiliated to Gulbarga University Gulbarga in the year 1987 which is first in the state. Later on, in the year 1996 the college was affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore.

The institution is recognized by Central council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi. Since its inception more than 1200 Graduates have passed through the hallow portals of this institution. The Institution is also the first in the state, to offer post Graduate Courses in Homoeopathy, since the year 1995.

The college is located in the M.R.Medical college campus. A major Broad guage Railway Line connect Gulbarga to other major cities like Bangalore, Bombay, New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kanyakumari and Rajkot.

The city is an excellent educational center and approximately 7.0 lakh population with peaceful and academic environment for studies.
