The Gurusiddappa Kotambri Law College was established in the year 1974 as an evening college to cater especially to the needs of the people of this region who were very keen in enhancing their law awareness.

This college has approval from Government of Karnataka. Permanent affiliation is granted by Karnataka University.

Bar Council of India, New Delhi has also granted its Recognition to this college.

To create an environment conducive for employment opportunities, to explore students potentials and to put ceaseless efforts to get them manifested.
