Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management (GNIHM), Kolkata was established under the JIS Group Educational Initiatives is a prime Hotel Management college in Kolkata.

GNIHM has one of the best and biggest infrastructures and is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India, New Delhi.

It is also affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management having the best and biggest infrastructure among the private hotel management institutes in India, started its journey on the 1st of July in the year 2005. Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology under Ministry of Tourism Govt. Of India, affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology and approved by All India Council for Technical Education and is ranked top Hotel Management College in Kolkata.

The objective of this institute is to create future leaders for the hospitality industry who will lead from the front. GNIHM prepares students committed to a career in the hospitality industry. Its' model hospitality education programmes balances theory with practice, independent learning with strong faculty support, and a foundation for lifelong learning with the skills for immediate employment and progress to leadership positions in the industry. The next two-three years will see JIS Group's quantum leap, with several new educational initiatives in the areas of paramedical sciences, nursing, education, law, automobile engineering, and finally the most ambitious project; a medical college with a modern hospital.
