GSN College of Education, Mahabubnagar was established in 1960.

It is affiliated to Osmania University.

The undergraduate level course offered by the college is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). GSN College of Education is run by Sudershan Educational Society.

The college is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It covers an area of 5 acres, which is on the Nagarkurnool road, about 115 Kms from Hyderabad. At present the college is offering B.Ed for all graduate candidates.

The main objective is to establish run maintain and manage educational institutions like childcare homes, school proprietary Nurseries, School Colleges and other institution which are necessary to promote higher interest of education and to impart education of all facilites without destructions of cast or creed through Telugu Hindi and English languages from primary to higher education under the society.

The main aim and objectives of the Sudarshan Educational Society would be to provide Educational, Cultural facilities in arts commerce,Science and Technology. GSN COllege of Education contains a full-fledged library with sufficient number of books.

The library also contains different books like, dictionaries, thesaurus, encyclopedias and other General Knowledge books. Books, which are useful for the students of B.Ed., keeping in view Psychology and research in Education are also included in the library.
