Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law was established in the year 1979.

The college has distinguished and excellent record for over two decades.

The college has organised various activities like Moot-Court competitions, Law festival, Seminars and symposiums on lively topics as well as topics of national importance.

Graduates and employees in Banks, Govt. Services, etc. during some time past made representation to the Mandal to open a Law College at Margao to serve the growing need of legal education of people in and around Margao.
