Govt. Serchhip College (GSC), Serchhip was established in 1973.

The college was initially affiliated to North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) and subsequently to Mizoram University when the University was established on 2001.

The college maintains an utmost academic standard with its well qualified and caring teaching staff that put all their efforts to mould the students into a complete human being, teach them face all challenges of life and at all times have a positive attitude.

The institution endeavors to comfort the students with all the necessary knowledge and skills to become truly successful in the chosen field.

Vision and Mission:

The principle vision of the college is to cater the need for higher studies in different fields like Science, Arts and Information Technology.

The mission and objectives of the institute are to promote programs/movements that foster inter-connectedness and kinship.
