Govt. College, Pawai (Dist. Panna) was popularly known as Rasik Bihari of Govt. Degree College, Pawai established on 1st November 1983 and was shifted to the existing premises in the year 2007.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar & Mahara Chhatrasal Bundel Khand University, Chhatarpur. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12 (B) on 8th September 1993 under Act, 1956.

The aim of the college was to keep the local and global needs of time in mind efforts are being made by the institution to impart quality education and prepare youth force whose dynamic potential will serve nation and society simultaneously.

It is a co-educational government Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the semi-urban part of Panna played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports and curricular activities under Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar & Mahara Chhatrasal Bundel Khand University, Chhatarpur.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts, Science, and Commerce streams and two years of postgraduate courses in Arts and Science streams with various specializations under Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar & Mahara Chhatrasal Bundel Khand University, Chhatarpur

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar & Mahara Chhatrasal Bundel Khand University, Chhatarpur and various other examinations are held in the college premises.

Admissions here also done through Govt. of M.P. online portal by the Department of Higher Education M.P. and hence gives a transparent and fair method of admission.
