Government Unani Medical College, Bangalore was established in 1975. Late Sri M.Siddaveerappa, the Minister for Health & Municiple Administration under the chief ministership of Late Sri D.Devaraj Urs, inaugurated the college. The college was initially affiliated to Bangalore University. At present the college is affiliated to the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences,Bangalore. The college is at best in curriculum,infrastructure,materials and resources with a friendly cometitive environment. For a student who is passionate about Unani Medicine, Government Unani Medical College, Bangalore, offers platform for academic excellence, bright future and overall personality development. The college is attached to prestigious SJIIM Hospital with 100 beds facility. Students shall have clinical classes as well as postings during internship in various departments of the hospital.
