Government P. G. College, Tonk was established in 1958.

Its affiliated to University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

The college got a B+ grade by NAAC, the Government of Rajasthan has recognized this college as the model college.

As the result, the academic progress of the college is being reflected in the students achievement in the examination and the teaching staff's achievement in its academic progress.
