Goa Institute of Management (GIM), Panaji is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for offering postgraduate courses in management at the MBA level.

GIM is committed to endeavor, and to inculcate a learning habit in their students. It also aims to impart a high sense of ethics and values to the entire student.

From a small beginning in 1993, with 6 faculty members, teaching a single class with an intake of 24 students in a rented premise, we have grown to 75+ full-time faculty members, six courses with an intake of over 900 full-time students, and a 50-acre campus with world-class infrastructure. We are fortunate to have had Late Fr. Romuald D'Souza as our founding Director. The institute has grown under his visionary leadership from strength to strength.

Scholarship Details

Scholarship:

GIM - MBBS Scholarship (GMS)

This scholarship is offered to candidates holding MBBS degree admitted into PGDM in Health Care Management (HCM)

Institute offers 5 scholarships each amounting to Rs. 400000

Candidates admitted into PGDM are not eligible for this scholarship

Candidates should have obtained their MBBS degree from a recognized university/College with a high score/class

Scholarship will be given in 2 installments, 50% in the 1st year and the rest in the 2nd year, which is subject to the academic performance and conduct of the awardee. If an awardee s academic performance or conduct is not satisfactory to the expectations of the management, the release of the second instalment will be stopped

GMS awardees will not be eligible for any other financial concessions or benefits from the institute

Academic Competence and Excellence Scholarship Scheme (ACCESS)

This scholarship is offered to meritorious students who excel in the selection process and demonstrate proper attitude to learning and promise for a good use of the award

Offers 45 scholarships each amounting to Rs. 400000

Scholarship will be given in 2 installments, 50% in the 1st year and the rest in the 2nd year, which is subject to the academic performance (CGPA of 5.6 or above) and conduct of the awardee. If an awardee s academic performance or conduct is not satisfactory to the expectations of the management, the release of the second instalment will be stopped

Tuition fee waiver and freeship scheme:

Students who clears the admissions process and whose total family income is less than Rs. 4.5 lakhs/annum will get a full waiver of the tuition fees up to maximum of 5% of students admitted

Institute offers free-ships up to 5% of its students admitted, provided the students have passed their qualifying examination from colleges/ universities in the state of Goa, and their annual family income does not exceed Rs. 5 lakhs per annum

Due date of registration for tuition waiver scheme is 15th June 2016 for PGDM and 8th June 2016 for PGDM-HCM
