Ghandhi Smarak Post Graduate College, Jaunpur was established in 1961 with motto to provide higher education to boys and girls of Jaunpur district.

Formerly known as GS Degree College, Samodhpur, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh affiliated to V.B.S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur and recognised by National Council for Teacher Education program is a leading educational institution of eastern U.P.

The aim is not only to provide only traditional education but also to make them eligible in this competitive scenario.
