Ganga Singh College, Chapra was established in 1966 to offer undergraduate courses under Arts & Science stream.

It is one of the constituent & premier colleges under Jai Prakash Vishwavidyala (University), Chapra to impart & provide a platform for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the path of progress.

The college is affiliated to Jai Prakash Vishwavidyala, Chapra and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) Act, 1956.
