Ganga Institute of Education, Kablana (Jhajjar) was established in September 2007 under the management of Pawan Ganga Educational Society, New Delhi.

It is one of the premier institutions established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind formerly affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is also recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur and it is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade - (CGPA Score 3.32 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 19th September 2011.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

The college has well-maintained separate girls' and boys' hostels. Each hostel has a dining hall and a kitchen.
The facilities attached to the hostel are; A well- furnished TV Lounge, a guest room for visitors and a badminton compound. There is a provision for indoor games like Carrom Board and Table Tennis.
There are two generators of the latest quality to provide power when there is electricity failure. Boys and Girls hostels are looked after by male and female wardens respectively.
The institute has a large playground with will-equipment for different sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton and so on
State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
The college consists Women Cell to help female students. This cell helps and guides girls to sort out from their personal problem and avoid them from any harassment
