Gandhi Centenary B. T. College was established in 1968, the Centenary year of Mahatma Gandhi, to commemorate the hollowed name of the Father of the nation, who was one of the great educators of the world. Our College is a co-educational Day Teachers' Training (B.Ed.) College recognised by N.C.T.E and affiliated to the The West Bengal University Of Teachers' Training, Education Planning And Administration. N.A.A.C has accredited B Level to this college.

N.A.A.C. has accredited B Level to this college. The College is regarded as one of the popular colleges in the region for acquiring teacher education.

The College provides all the modern facilities to the students which would help acquire the skills required to become a teacher.
