About VPM'S Dr. V. N. Bedekar Institute of Management Studies

VPM'S Dr. V. N. Bedekar Institute of Management Studies (DR VN BRIMS), Thane was established on 3rd July 1973 and managed by Vidya Prasarak Mandal, Thane (Estd. 1935).

The Institute fulfilled the dreams in the academic year 2005-06 by establishing Dr. V.N. Bedekar Institute of Management Studies (DR VN BRIMS).

It is one of the premier institutions established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The institute is affiliated to University of Mumbai, Mumbai. It is recognized and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

DR VN BRIMS became an ISO certified institution in July 2008 in a short period of three years since inception. Today, it is eagerly looking forward to achieving the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation and also preparing itself for an accreditation by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), a body constituted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under Section 10 (u) of the AICTE Act, 1987.

The institute offers 2 years of masters degree programs leading to the award of a Master of Management Studies (MMS) degree by the University of Mumbai and leading to the award of Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) by the Institute.

The institute has established London Academy for Education & Research in order to emerge as a dynamic and responsive global organization. It also offers Add-On Courses in Management streams.

The institution has given priority to teaching and learning process. It has created a better teaching and learning environment in the campus through improved infrastructural and human resources.
