Dr. V.R.K. Women's Medical College & Research Centre, Aziznagar was established in 2010.

Its Affiliated to Dr NTRUHS.

The college is managed by Dr V R K Educational Society which has already established one Engineering College for Girls at Aziznagar , A.P in the year 2002. At present, the attached Teaching Hospital has 300 Beds and in a span of another two to three years.

The College will be a 500 Beds Hospital. This Hospital is functional since 2006 and is catering not only to the surrounding villages but also to the patients from distant places. The average bed occupancy of the Hospital is nearly 225, mainly from specialities in Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. All services are free of charges and quality of treatment is not compromised.

The Hospital has additional separate beds for ICCU, ICU, Casualty, PICU and NICU besides Trauma Centre. The Medical College will commence only after the approval is granted by the Medical Council Of India and also the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government Of India. However, the Government of A.P. has issued the Essentiality Certificate and the Affiliating University i.e. Dr NTR University of Health Sciences has given its consent for affiliation.

The Medical College and their Teaching Hospital is on the ORR Road and is at a distance of 15 kms from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad.

The Medical College is covered under Limits of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and Hyderabad Urban Development Authority. The Staff Quarters and Students Hostels are ready for occupancy.
