The college is managed by SGR Technical and Educational Society. The Society was established in 1985 by their founder Prof. Dr.S.G.Reddy to cater the needs of higher education to needy students.

The Dr. Syamala Reddy Dental College Hospital and Research is proud to be affiliated the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore and recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI). College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences, Bangalore.
