Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan Degree College has been established recognized by C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur with view to imparting the best education and instill confidence in youths of the day so that they may cope with the very competitive era and secure their distinct place.

Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan Degree College will always remain effortful for the educational and overall development. Under this sprit, the two streams have been put into progress, side by side college is still making best efforts to bring proposed faculties.

To augment education level, Shram Shakti Vikas Samiti put the foundation of Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan Mahavidyalaya, Unnao in 2007-08 in the memory of the poet of world repute Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Shram Shakti Vikas Samiti emerged in the year 2004.

The chief purpose of the committee is to devolve educational, cultural and social tone in full fledge for the well being of nation. The committee is bound to fulfill it.

The committee is bound to open primary, higher secondary and higher educational institutional viz degree college, management institute, medical college, agriculture college, law college, engineering college, library, conference hall, research institution and so on, for the over all development of district and state on national and international level.
