DP Vipra Law College was established in 1989, affiliated to Guru Ghasidas Central Vishwavidyalaya (Central University), Bilaspur.

The College is approved by Bar Council of India,New Delhi.

D.P.Vipra Law College has its own Building covering 12000 Sq.ft, constructed area along with 90000 Sq.ft, open land, the college Library has been equipped with 8900 books and 800 law journals and the library is connected with internet to other well known libraries of India.

The teaching staff of the college has been designed as having U.G.C. qualified faculty members and learned Advocate teachers.
