Devanga Arts College, Virudhunagar was established in 1970.

Its affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University.

Under CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) a student is exposed to several areas that may add skills in his career.

Continuous care for physical and mental stability is extended to the students by bringing a professional Psychologist and a General Medical Practitioner to the College.

Empowerment programme, Placement Training and Smart Class come under regular academic programmes of this college.

Priority is given to the first generation women learners in getting admission.

MNC’s are invited to educate the students about the recent required skill in the various sectors.

With the help of an MOU made with M/s. Sutherland Global Industries, the College is able to introduced a skill based paper “Corporate Communication” for the benefit of outgoing students.

In fulfilling the Industrial requirements the college offers a Diploma Course, “Placement Training” to the final year students.
