Department of Lokmanya Tilak Teachers Education College-Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Udaipur was established in 1966.

Its affiliated to Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth University.

It has done the excellent work in training teachers as such the college has produced 9000 graduate teachers and 1000 teachers.

The college has acquired its reputation at the national level by getting award of 'A' grade by the National Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The main aim is to prepare lokmanya, value oriented, dynamic prospective teachers who can serve efficiently at all levels of school education through inside and outside class activities at different school situation.
