Department of Fine Arts - Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi, is a constituent department of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, was established in 1983 leading to the Bachelor of Fine Art Course and Postgraduate course of Master in Fine Art.

This department run courses under the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi. The department aims to prepare the students for creative and applied responsibilities in the world of art and design.

It is a co-educational State Govt. Institute, providing regular courses in which is located in the urban part of Varanasi played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The department has received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi.

At present, the department offers 4 years of the program in Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and 2 years of Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Courses. It also offers PGD and Ph.D. courses as well.
