Deccan College of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad was established in 1984.

The College is in the state of Andhra Pradesh for Muslim minorities, recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi and affiliated to the NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.

under the aegis of Dar-us-Salam Educational Trust, under the chairmanship of Alhaj Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi, Ex.M.P.

In college regular practice facilities for students, Table Tennis, Caroms , Chess , Badminton, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Foot Ball and Track and field events. Separate practice facilities for girls in Table Tennis, Caroms and chess.

Library is housed in two big halls, on the right Wing of the III floor of the Owaisi Hospital & Research Centre's building. Library is well equipped with adequate Books, Journals, audio & visual aids and online facility is also provided for the Under graduate students, PG Students and Faculty.

In addition to boarding, lodging facilities, the other facilities provided are internet, Television for Entertainment of Hostlers and more than adequate furniture provided for Hostlers. Two separate visiting lounges are provided to respectively Boys & Girls Hostels.

It has Standby Generator, 24 Hours cover for Boys and Girls Hostels.
