Established in the year 1971, Dayanand College of Law, Latur is one of the prominent and pioneer institutions in Maharashtra imparting legal education.
The college was established by the Dayanand Education Society, Latur for the purpose of imparting higher education in law, in an educationally and economically backward area of Latur and place of Marathwada region.
Dayanand College of Law, was started in the year 1971 under Principalship of an eminent scholar in law Dr. Shivaraj Nakade, with a strength of 178 students. Now it has attained a unique status in Marathwada area with LL.B .
The college was first affiliated to Marathwada University, Aurangabad (Now renamed as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad) and thereafter since 1995 it has been affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.
