Dayanand Anglo Vedic (D.A.V.) College, Siwan was established in 1941. It is one of the constituent & premier colleges under Jai Prakash Vishwavidyala (University), Chapra to impart & provide a platform for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the path of progress.

The college is affiliated to Jai Prakash Vishwavidyala, Chapra and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) Act, 1956.

The college offers two years Higher Secondary Courses in Arts, Science & Commerce stream and three years Degree Courses in Arts, Science & Commerce stream under Jai Prakash Vishwavidyala, Chapra. It also offers some Career Oriented Courses / Add-On Course.

The college also has a Contact Centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Delhi and Nalanda Open University for PG Courses & Vocational Courses.
