Darbhanga Medical College (DMC), Laheriasarai was established in 1946.
The college is affiliated to L N Mithila University and is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI).
The college is the oldest medical college in Bihar with largest campus in state.
The college was started as a Temple Medical School in 1925 and was upgraded into a college in 1946.
