D.S. College, Aligarh was established in 1973.

D.S. College is affiliated with Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Agra and Accredited as B++ by NAAC, having co-education with excellent education facilities in Hindi, English and Sanksrit medium. There are more than 10000 students, 159 regular teachers, 50 teachers in self finance courses and 150 non-teaching staff. The Institute aims is imparting quality education in the various faculites like Science, Arts, Commerce, Law, Education, Computer Application, Business Administration and library science as well as enhancing student's ability with Games, NCC, NSS, Robbers and Rangers. Institute has Post Graduate courses in more than 20 subjects, with plenty of research activities in the hands of more than 400 research scholars.

The College has highly qualified teaching staff numbering 206 (including self finance courses) with their abilities, skills and research aptitudes and National & International linkages.

This institute was established in the year 1947 by Rai Bahadur Badriprasad ji under the society Satya Dharm Samaj. As society named "Satya Dharam Samaj" was established, the rule book of which stated the first aim of it in these words - "To strive and attain the best dharma, as said as Vedas about devotion and knowledge and leaving of false knowledge." Dharma Samaj (Post Graduate) College is famous throughout India, is one of the best college of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated near Achal Taal at G.T. Road in Aligarh.

Scholarship the college provides National Scholarship, SC/ST, and OBC Scholarships, Fee Concession and help from students welfare fund.
