D.P .Vipra Law College Bilaspur was established in 1989, as a Department of Law D.P.Vipra P.G.College.

The D.P.Vipra P.G. Law College Bilaspur is run by Snatak Mahavidyalaya Shikshan Samiti Chaired by well Known Educationist and Retd.Principal Prof. Ramnarayan Shukla & as per the provisions of Statute No. 28 the Governing Body of the College is constituted.

Presently the D.P. Vipra Law College is running three years law degree course.

From this session 2009-10 D.P. Vipra Law College have started two P.G. Diploma course in labour law and administrative law (one year programme).

The diploma course is so designed that the persons who are employed in different governmental and nongovernmental organization having a regular deal with the labour and administrative matter, can have a clear legal concept regarding labour laws and general principles of administrative laws.

The practicing lawyers can also achieve the maximum benefit in their cases with the help of above diploma programmed.

From the current session D.P. Vipra Law College has introduced Most Probably the work 5 years law degree Program (BALLB).
