College of Engineering (CEK), Karunagappally was established in 2000. College was established under the aegis of IHRD (Institute of Human Resources Development), the college has made its presence felt in the technical horizon of the state.

It has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by the Cochin University of Science And Technology (CUSAT).

It is a premier institute of engineering that has carved a niche for itself in the field of technical education in a very short span of time.
College aims to impart a value based Engineering education through which the students are made aware of social and moral values of life and the need of their readiness to build up a healthy nation.
