College of Agricultural Engineering & Post Harvest Technology (CAEZ&PHT), Gangtok was established in 2006 by Central Agricultural University, is to address the issue of shortage of trained man power in agricultural engineering and various issues pertaining to natural resource management, farm mechanization and post harvest technology.

The college aims to produce world class professionals who are equipped to meet the demands of global competitiveness.
The college believes in building competence, commitment and culture in its students.

Vision:

To develop in its students a sense of pride in them, in the CAU, Imphal and in their agricultural engineering profession.

Mission:

To be a centre of excellence in teaching, research and extension education in the field of agricultural engineering and post harvest technology.

Campus: The college is situated at Gangtok, the capital of the tiny but beautiful Himalayan State of Sikkim. The picturesque location of the college is at Ranipool, Gangtok on National Highway 31. It provides an ideal atmosphere for academic activities. The distance of the college from Gangtok is 12 Kms.
