Christian College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Bhilai was established in 1998 formerly known as MPCCET and functions under the aegis of the St.Thomas Mission of the Malankara Orthodox Church, which operates more than two dozen schools and colleges in Central and Eastern India.

The college has been approved and accredited by AICTE, affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai.
