Christ Junior College (CJC), Bengaluru Urban was established in 2002-03. It is one of the constituent parts of the Christ University, Bengaluru established under the management of Christ Educational Society.

It is one of the premier institutions established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Department of Pre-University Education, Bengaluru to offers intermediate courses and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

The academic year 2002-03 was a landmark in the history as it was then that Christ Junior College came into existence as a result of bifurcation of the Pre-University course from the other courses of the Christ College.

A new elegant building was erected as a mark of the new beginnings and it is here that the everyday life of Christ Junior College unfolds. They are well rooted in the established tradition of Christ College and our renowned faculty, vibrant student body, as well as our educational amenities, have made us home to some of the best and brightest minds.

The college offers two years intermediate courses in Arts, Science, & Commerce streams under Department of Pre-University Education, Bengaluru.
