Established in 1991, Department of Hotel Management, Christ University, Bengaluru is managed by Christ College of Management. The institute is a constituent department of Christ College.

Department of Hotel Management, Christ University, Bengaluru is self-affiliated with Christ University, Bengaluru. It was recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

The institute aims at imparting quality practical and theoretical knowledge to the students in the area of hospitality education in order to provide trained personnel to the hospitality industry and related sectors.

The institute offers an undergraduate course in Bachelor of Hotel Management for four years. This is offered by the affiliating university. It also offers add-on certificate courses.

The undergraduate course in Bachelor of Hotel Management includes internship programmes in managerial and operational fields for a period of six months. The students graduating from the institute are offered assistance by the placement and training cells that are present in the institute. The placement cell is in charge of monitoring the career of students and providing them hundred percent placement.
