Cherraan's Arts & Science College, Erode was established in 1991.

The college is affiliated to Bharathiar University.

by the benevolent and dynamic industrialist Mr.K.C.Palanisamy, Ex. M.P., with the aim of offering higher education to the students belonging to rural and semi urban area.

The college has been imparting knowledge to the students in a uniqe style for the past fifteen years. It has gained good reputation, because of dedicated service and academic excellence.

The college trains young men and women of quality to be leaders in all walks of life so that they may serve the people of nation in truth, justice and love.

Accordingly, the college is an agent of social change, instilling an awarenss of the great need in country for social justice, based on the dignity of the human person.

thus, it strives to make its own contribution towards transformation of the present social contribution. So that justice, equality and the moral values enshrined in the constitution of India may prevail in the daily life of every citizen of India.
