Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), Chennai was established in 2010. It is a premier institute in Chennai and established with the objective of providing quality technical education with adequate industrial exposure, caters to the needs of the youth with its innovative teaching methods.

The institute is managed under "Parthasarathy Seeniammal Educational Trust" was founded with a mission to prepare the young leaders of today by equipping them in their respective fields of study with a positive outlook on life redefine the system of education.

The institute is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

CIT has strong links with many firms and organizations in private and public sectors. New knowledge skills and an insights into work can be developed by students in conjunction with employers in the business and industry sectors.

The institution provides exemplary technical education with a team of dedicated faculty members and imparts quality education by adopting the system of quality assurance enabling continued improvement in teaching learning process to enhance students’ skills and talents for their exemplary contribution to the Society, Nation and World.

The campus is wi-fi enabled with highly sophisticated equipments, state-of-the-art laboratories. CIT is equipped with 24 x 7 high speed internet facility, spacious and ventilated classrooms, laboratories with latest high configured equipments, digitalized air conditioned library with huge volumes of books, journals from national and international.

  • During the four years of course period, all students will attend in-plant training and internships in their respective industries. This will give the students an insight into professional, industrial world and will enable them to update their hard and soft skills
  • Placements service is staffed by highly qualified professionals who have the ability to help you make the right choices for your career development. They will be able to support students with their application skills including writing CVs and application forms
  • Placement opportunities range from local, national to international companies who will visit the CIT campus to recruit young engineers, from all disciplines, on an annual basis. Apart from these companies, MK AUTO COMPONENTS India, will also be recruiting their employees from CIT only

  • A well lit and built “ Shri. Parthasarathy Auditorium ” having a seating capacity of 1,500 in 12000 sqft area. This centralized Air conditioned hall has well balanced acoustic engineered designs using sophisticated sound equipment
  • A fully air conditioned Mini Auditorium having a seating capacity of 400 is ideal for a seminar or conference or Video Conference. A fully air conditioned two seminar hall having a seating capacity of 200 is ideal for a seminar Audio – Visual facility
  • CIT provides various social and leisure activity options to their students, and thus making the learning process more enjoyable. For this purpose, Young Entrepreneurs Club, Public Speaking Club and Creative Club have been set up
  • Well balanced and nutritious meals are provided for the students round the clock. There are separate dining halls for girls and boys
  • CIT aims to provide all students with high quality, hygienic and safe accommodation to meet individual needs. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available and at present, we can accommodate 500 students. All rooms are furnished with bed, cupboard, etc.
  • CIT has an established bus system which is well connected to most parts of Chennai City and its neighborhood towns.
