The college is approved by Government of Madhya Pradesh & UGC and affiliated to Barkatullah University.

The college has been monitored by Directorate of Education, M.P; Bhopal. The college is an educational institution in Graduate and Post Graduate pattern and has the unique distinction of combining ancient ethos with modernity, traditional values with pragmatic dynamism.

Chanakya Mahavidyalaya has espoused the cause of imparting quality education, at all levels. Since inception the college is committed to the development and application of new and leading tools to explore problems at the frontiers of management and sciences.
