Chaitnya Sahoo College of Science & Arts, Cuttack was also known as Chaitanya Sahu (Degree) College of Science & Arts, Cuttack was established in 1992 with the contribution of local people of Cuttack.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

It is affiliated with the Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

The aim of the college is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need in this era of information and teaching and as well as to provide the ideal environment to develop the mental, Physical, social and spiritual level of students.

It is a co-educational private Institute, providing regular courses at primarily the higher secondary and undergraduate levels which are located in a rural part of a Cuttack played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college offers two years intermediate courses in Arts and Science streams with various specializations under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha.

The college also offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts and Science streams with various specializations under Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.
