College of Computer Sciences (CCS), Wakad (Dist. Pune) was also known as Institute of Science Poona's College of Computer Sciences was established in 2000.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
 
The college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and it is recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra and University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2000 under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

The College of Computer Sciences (CCS) covers Bachelor and Master's Degrees in Computer Sciences & applications under Savitrbai Phule Pune University, Pune.

At present, the college has Infrastructure includes a number of latest sets of computers, so as to enable the students to give proper practical training. The college also maintains a well-equipped library for the students.

Information Technology and Computer Science are becoming popular today and will generate demand for skilled manpower. The College’s aim is to equip younger generation technology.

Students have to go through theoretical courses in the center and are required to complete their implant training in the respective industries. Most of these students are directly absorbed by the Industries.

The college has opened its option with Arts & Commerce faculties leading to B.A., B.Com, M.A., M.J.M.C. (Journalism and Communications) and M.Com.Degrees.

The college runs the prestigious courses of B.Sc. (computer sciences), B.B.A. (business administrations), B.B.A. (Computer Applications), and M.C.A. (Master of Computer Applications) in the faculty of Application Science & M.Sc. (Master of Computer Science). The institute has a separate placement cell which provides up to date information about job opportunities and arranges for campus interviews and placement.
