Cardamom Planters' Association (CPA) College, Theni was established in 1970.

Its affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai.

as Bodinayakanur Pranthiya Thenninthiya Ela Vivasayigal Sangam. It is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University.

The college is non-communal and non-sectarian. Its paramount objective is to train the students to be good citizens and to give higher educational facilities to the students of this locality seeking collegiate education.

The Society has acquired more than forty three acres of land about three kilometers from Bodinayakanur on the Bodi-Munnar National Highway, out of which twelve acres and a fine bungalow had been graciously given by the the president of the society to the college.
