Babe Ke College of Education, Mudki (Dist. Ferozepur) was an autonomous institute of UGC established in 2006 and managed by Babe Ke Educational Trust.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Punjab University, Chandigarh and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is also recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur & Govt. of Punjab to offer B.Ed, M.Ed. & D.Ed. courses.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A+" Grade (CGPA Score 3.63 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 2nd December 2016.

The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the future teachers. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate education through the rungs of the society so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves.

Babe Ke Group of Institutions started its journey in Education by establishing a number of colleges and institutions offering different courses for the students.

It is a co-educational self-financed Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Ferozepur played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college also received the many achievements awards in the field of Teacher Training under Punjab University, Chandigarh.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

At present college also started to offer two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university under the affiliating to Department of School Education & SCERT, Mohali.

Apart from this, the college offers two years diploma level course of Elementary Teacher Training (E.T.T.) for teaching. This program is an opening path for the students who have passed their senior secondary examination (10+2).

The college also started Research Programs like action research at B.Ed. level, Dissertation at M.Ed. level, Research Projects and Research Publications are going on. To compete at the International Level the management has executed international collaborations with the university of New Zealand & U.K.

The college has a significant presence in the field of research. A number of major & minor research projects are awarded to the faculty members by the UGC and other bodies

State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC

A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus

The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
