Birmaharajpur College, Subarnapur as an institution in the field of higher education is devoted to the cause of empowerment of youth of the rural area through access to higher education. The college is sponsored by the Government of Orissa and in collaboration with the Infosys along with conventional courses to enable the rural students to cope with the changing needs. The college gives scope for creating a suitable environment for their intellectual development and social sense of responsibility along with their personal and professional growth by the inculcation of spiritual, moral and social values. The goals and objectives of the college are to inculcate the spirit of globalization and to empower the students to keep pace with the growing changes around them and to orient them through different societies, associations and to render humanitarian services to the victims during flood, cyclone and other natural calamities and also provide access to higher education for the purpose of spreading quality education among those youths who opt for it at a marginal cost.
