Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Engineering College,Almora, Uttarakhand was established in 1986.

It was established by the then Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in 1986 for imparting Engineering education and promoting technological environment in Kumaon region.

The college started functioning in 1991. College is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun.

College has the status of an autonomous institutional society which is fully financed and controlled by the Uttarakhand State Government.

The college dreams and possesses strength to become a center of excellence having modern academic & physical infrastructure to create excellent academic environment.

The mission of the college is to establish value creating networks with educational institutes of National repute & corporate and to impart quality technical education to all sections of the society by establishing state-of-the-art infrastructure and providing a conductive environment.

The main vision of the college is to mould the students as responsible citizens of the nation who will always disseminate the gained knowledge from this college to the betterment of the society.
