Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Ayurved, Pune was established in 1990.

Its affiliated to Bharati Vidyapeeth University.

The College of Ayurved is a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University which is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine & Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.

The Institute is accredited ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC) Bangalore.

The Institute is located in the Dhankawadi Educational complex of Bharati Vidyapeeth. The well designed College building accommodates well-equipped laboratories, dissection lobby, spacious demonstration halls, museums, classrooms and library with a reading hall and internet facility.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Ayurved has carved a ‘niche’ in the vast field of Ayurveda, not only in India but also globally. This is the pioneer Ayurved College in Maharashtra to start Ayurved education in English medium.

The college is approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine [CCIM] & Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi
