Bharath Teacher Training Institute, Thanjavur is managed under K.Nadimuthu Memorial Education Trust registered under the Indian Trust Act and established by an Educationalist Shri.N.Ganesan., M.Com., M.Phil., (Ph.D.,) Managing Director, Indian Institute of Catering Technology and Hotel Management (IICTHM), Thanjavur, which is premier institute first of their kind in 1993 in Thanjavur and in southern part of Tamilnadu.

The aim of the Trust is to produce sincere, hard-working, dedicated and competent primary and elementary school teachers who can try new innovative thinking and practices in their class rooms.

The Institute will aim at producing learner-friendly teachers who can harness the available resources in the community.

The Institute promises to render service to student population from lower state of the society in this area and foster a high standard of education by a team of dedicated and experienced faculty members at all levels.

The Institute has obtained Approval from the State Government of Tamil Nadu and Also Recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi.
